Some Recommended Reading

FUN:

You may not know his face or maybe not have been aware of his name but you HAVE heard this man's versatile and distinct voice in things ranging from commercials (Pillsbury Dough Boy, Nestles Chocolate, Screaming Yellow Zonkers) to Cartoons (Boris Badenov, Ludwig Von Drake, the over-serious baritone narrator on many Jay Ward cartoons, Meisterberger the Bergermeister) and even the Haunted Mansion ride at Disney Land (yes, that's him grimly intoning "Welcome foolish mortals--"). And that's just a TINY fraction of Mr Frees's accomplishments as a vocal artist. This book provides a fascinating peek into the creativity, humor, life, eccentricities and sheer genius of this man.
