As if Hillary running wasn't odious and distressing enough in itself, she goes and picks for her official campaign song, this rather over-the-top obnoxious sap-fest called "You And I" by none other than one of Canada's WORST exports, one Celine Dion, (who shall be referred to hereafter as Sireeeeeeeen Dijon). As if Hillary's brand of "Kinder/Gentler Socialism wasn't enough, she has to inflict this AWFUL calculated corporate pop abomination on us that is enough to turn your brain into Jello. But then again, should we expect anything different? Furthermore, could a room exist on this planet large enough to contain BOTH their monstrous egos?
And another thing, do you notice that Hillary and Sireeeeen are starting to look like each other a little? And if Sireeeen REALLY wanted to do mankind a service, she should be employed as some Midwestern town's tornado warning siren.
Lastly Canada owes us ONE HUGE APOLOGY for inflicting Sireeeeeen on the rest of the world!
And here's the link to the official web page to prove it's true!
The Official Hilary Clinton Campaign Song
Bill Bruford's Earthworks - The Sound of Surprise (2001)
The PERFECT antidote to horrible sonic toxins like Sireeeeenn Dijon! Former King Crimson/Yes drummer Bill Bruford these days is plying his trade in the arena of contemporary post-bop jazz with AMAZING results! Pieces like "Revel Without A Pause" "Never The Same Way Once", "Half-Life" and "The Wooden Man Sings and The Stone Woman Dances" are just nothing short of great examples that jazz has still got LOTS of life in it , and INTELLIGENT life at that!
